I've enjoyed designing logos ever since I won a logo design contest way back in high school for the Freeburg Chamber of Commerce.  I won $50...which I thought was a lot of money at the time...and I guess it was a lot of money to a high school kid with no income.  My picture was in the paper and everything.  That happened back in 1991 I think, and I still put it on my portfolio for sentimental reasons.
